[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Best wishes for 2016! Hoping your celebrations were what you would have wished. We had a very peaceful time catching up on sleep. Wasn’t the twilight market amazing?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2911,2912″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’ve had an amazing amount of rain & the dam has gone from nearly empty to overflowing, water pouring off the rock ridge which runs through the centre of the property. It was so sodden & squelshy we had to lay off all the workers for three days! See how mud-splattered this cos lettuce became![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2919″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This week we have the market at Taylor Square only. Carriage works starts on 16th. So make sure you get to Taylor Square! The forecast is for a lovely warm dry Saturday.

Pick of this week are new cherry tomatoes and sweet, delicious young corn.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2916,2914″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2917,2915″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Besides the usual salads, mustards, Horta and greens there is kale, always a rich green that is so good for you. There’s no chard at present. Bill’s Lebanese cucumbers and Roma tomatoes are ready. There are Jean’s avocadoes and Ed’s eggs and the usual rich Egganic eggs. Think of desserts from rhubarb and Eureka lemons and the last of the navel oranges![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2918″ img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]These lemon apple cucumbers are flowering well. Look out for them in the near future.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You can get any or all of the three varieties of beetroot, Chioggia, gold or red.

See Serkan & Rhianna at Taylor Square.

Have a great week

Nancy
