G’day everyone, I’ve had a pretty non eventful week this week as my son was crook one day and I spent the next day driving up to Patterson and then had the next day off so all up I worked two and a half days. Luckily I’m not the only person working on the farm.

This week well all good things must come to an end and this week there will not be any cucumbers and the tomatoes this will be the last week for them. But this does mean that the new crops will soon be going in for summer.

We do have a few new things this week, whist in Patterson seeing my mate John Priestly I picked up some very different type of pumpkin and squash, and John tells me that these varieties are older but very delishes.
We also have some new citrus to try out, Bergamot oranges, which are used in Earl gray and lady gray teas, calamondins, cumquats, and sevilles, pretty standard citrus for the local area this time of year.

That’s it for me tonight, hope to see you all tomorrow at either Taylor sq or everleigh markets.
