HI All,
plenty of wind and cold temperatures slowing thing down so just a couple of pics of the girls hard at work picking and Josh searching for weeds for the horta mix, it is harder to find nice young leaves as it has been so dry – no rain for over 3 weeks!
we did clear the pumpkin growing on the oldest compost heap (see past postings) and this is what we collected from one vine (not counting the ones we have taken already)
So in this cold weather, we certainly have plenty of pumpkins for a hearty warming soup.
and just to show how the new beds are looking, here’s a pic of the next 3 ready to go in a few weeks.
