G’day everyone, this week we were ploughing up some more beds and the dry weather was a really evident with the ground taking three passes to turn up usable. We have also had our first fire scare, not so much for our farm but for the area, as a properties burn off got out of control and burnt out to 20ha.

The good warmth has however helped the greens grow and they haven’t looked better.
Our heritage beetroot that was a finalist in the abc delicious magazine has come back and the tops are looking and tasting just as good as the roots.

I was going to share a recipe that Michael, a frequent customer at Taylor square, had given me but I am running out of time for the blog subscribers so I’ll publish this and try do another one, if all fails hope to see you at the market tomorrow.
