HI,

well this the boss’s first attempt at blogging so although the spelling will be better than Lee’s I don’t think I can run to his colourful descriptions. As I sit here with rain teeming down its a wonder we have anything for you tomorrow

BUT WE DO

SO COME ALONG AND SUPPORT US;  RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE

Plenty of glorious tomatoes, both the Romas and the Grosse Lisse, cherry toms and baby romas too!

The red capsicum is great, both the banana variety and the bell, eggplant shiny and firm

Plenty of rocket although we are down a bit on the salads and there are no mushrooms this week.

We have probably said its the last week for Avos before  but this time I think its true. All we are getting are any remnants as Jean, (Tuckerflora grower) goes through the grove pruning.

Lets hope this years crops sets well so we can have Avos till Easter 2014

Ed has done some beautiful  garlic plaits which will keep till March/April so stock up!  just hang them in a well ventilated place  so keep them at their best.

If they do sprout later in the year you can always plant them in a pot.  No fumigation on these little beauties.

Have fun and tell Serkan and Jessie that you read the blog if you are Taylor Sq. or say hi to me if you come to Eveleigh

cheers

Michael Champion
