Hello Everyone

Last weekend we got a lot of rain but being a little more inland we didn’t cop what Sydney had! The rain was steady and soaked in after the driest May on record. It has also brought a change of season and it seems as if we get very little autumn or spring but go straight into summer or winter.

This is Nancy back from the UK after 10 weeks wonderful holiday seeing friends & family so you should get pictures again! Michael did a stalwart job while I was away but the blog defeated him a bit!

This is the last week for snake beans and the basil has finished. Coriander & dill are looking fantastic and cimi di rapa is at its best. Cimi di rapa is an heirloom italian vegetable and much sought after by the restaurants we serve and our customers who are in the know!

Rocket, baby spinach & salad are all looking terrific and taste delicious. New season kale and snow peas from Ed and his granddaughter Laura are also at their best. Zucchini are good but nearing the end of their season.

The range of citrus is excellent with mandarins, pink grapefruit, red navels (cara cara), myer lemons, eureka lemons and ordinary navels of course.

Have a happy & healthy week.

Nancy
